Hypnosis and Energy Healing for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)?

Updated: Jun 21, 2023

For those with PTSD, hypnotherapy has become a reliable, scientifically supported treatment choice. A sequence of symptoms known as PTSD, or posttraumatic stress disorder, is brought on by a traumatic incident that occurs in a person's life. PTSD symptoms typically include the following:

  • Invasive memories (reliving a violent scene in your mind)

  • Daydreams or recurrent bad dreams

  • Anxiety disorders resulting in chronic physical pain, body tensions, teeth grinding

  • Unsolved fears or phobias, such as a fear of butterflies, sleeping with the lights off or specific sounds or smells.

  • Incapability to relax the mind and the body

  • Incapability to concentrate, loss of memory

  • Sleep disorders

  • Impulsive outbursts of rage or temper tantrums

  • Overreacting to situations with seemingly little control

  • Persistent stress, tension, fears

  • The tendency for specific people or circumstances to unexpectedly trigger flashbacks of the traumatic incident is another recurring theme. We refer to these as triggers.

We provide treatments and support for clients who experience mild to severe post-traumatic stress disorder at Quantum Healing Hypnosis Arts (PTSD). The onset of PTSD is triggered by a variety of factors. These include occurrences like war, torture, serious auto accidents, physical or sexual abuse, and natural calamities like floods or bushfires. If a traumatic experience has been exposed to repeatedly, the intensity of a PTSD episode may worsen. Horror, rage, hopelessness, and extreme dread are just a few of the very natural feelings that these experiences might cause. They are all anchored in the subconscious mind.

How do Qigong Healing Techniques can help to heal PSTD?

Here are 6 reasons why Qigong is wonderful to Detox Negative Emotions and Release Pain in the Body:

1. Qigong uses movement – slow and gentle movement

2. Qigong reduces inflammation and pain

3. Qigong is non-addictive, unlike opioid, pain killer or other medications

4. Qigong is non-religious

5. Qigong can be practiced even if you are overweight, in a wheelchair, or recovering from surgery.

6. EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques/ Tapping based on the stimulation of acupuncture meridians.

The Mechanics of the Pain

1. Emotional energy is a form of Qi

2. If you have physical pain, then your Qi is stagnant in any part of the body

3. Excess or deficiency of Qi can affect the organs and spine as energy cannot flow properly

4. Pain starts when the Qi is blocked in our body

5. The best way to circulate Qi is with Qigong

6. Purge or detox, tonify and circulate the Qi removes emotional and physical pain in your body.

7. How are your emotions and pain related?

8. So how does it work? How do the emotions cause pain?

9. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we have the Five Elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood.

10. Each of the Five Elements is associated with a Meridian System. Furthermore, each Element is associated with an emotion:

In other words, for thousands of years the 5 elements of traditional Chinese medicine have recognized emotions as a part of the healing mechanics of the body. Let's heal together. You don't need to be ALONE. with Hypnotherapy and your own QI
